Jackshaft sprockets that fit a 1" keyed shaft

I have four jackshaft sprockets that fit a 1" keyed shaft. On my KBS, it was easy to change the final drive ratio as it employed a belt tensioner. I used the different size jackshaft sprocket to get the final drive ratio I wanted for a given track. For a short track like Blackhawk and MAM, you want to be geared low, but for a open track like Elkhart's Road America, you would want taller drive ratio.

Sprocket part numbers are comprised of pitch, number of grooves and width. For example; part number 8MX-48S-12 denotes 8mm pitch, 48 grooves, “S” for sprocket and 12mm width. -



Steel 8mm pitch, 36mm wide poly chain sprocket for 1 inch keyed shaft with taper lock - 32 teeth. Gates P/N 8MX-32S-36 1210 Taper lock sprockets are lighter than the standard sold steel sprocket.
